Typical Japanese Peeps

This is the piccy i did for my freelance (Japanese-related). The composition is quite boring, but was requested by the commisioners... oh well.
Was rejected due to the sun-rays background as it somewhat carries the connotation of "Imperial Japan" which can be politically wrong, as told by the peeps there... thye opted for a textured oraneg BG instead @_o, haha

Anyway, here's the stuff, unedited, unadulterated.

EDIT> Just to clarify first: The sunrays may be seen as "Militaristic Imperial Japan" here (South-East Asian community) and may bring back bad memories of WW2, so i guess that's the reason they chucked this out.
